10 things I hate about you...or more

You know the movie, 10 Things I hate about you? It's one of my favorites for Heath Ledger. It was the inspiration for this poem, written about one of my closest friends :) Missed you my friend!

I hate the way you brag,

And the conversations drag

            On and on.

I hate the fact that you are never on time,

As if it were some kind of crime.

I hate it that you are weak.

I hate the philosophy shit you speak.

I hate your sensitivity, it's not attractive.

I hate it when you become so over reactive!

I hate the way you've messed my head.

And the way you pretended that my mind- you read.

I hate it that you fantasize about me night and day,

Or at least that’s what you repeatedly say.

I hate your love and mush.

I hate the way you make me blush.

I hate your ego and the fact that you are so stuck up.

And the way you ramble about yourself and never shut up.

I hate it that you're so stubborn,

You hear me but don’t listen.

I hate the way you compete with me,

                                Trying to prove you're the best.

For god's sake- you're not, so give it a rest!

I hate it that you leave me all decisions to make,

It's like they're risks that you're afraid to take.

I hate it that you've deceived me,

You know I don’t tolerate lies.

I hate it that you think your smile wipes away your sins,

And the sad truth is that it always wins.

I hate it when you beg for forgiveness

I hate myself for putting up with all this.
