Life & Beyond

I had been reading some philosophy texts - and some extracts from Plato's work, and this is what I ended up writing:

How far can my
imagination take me?
Far enough to wonder
beyond reality?

Just imagine
the world shut down,
things disappeared
and life drowned.

Into the empty
blackness beyond.
Between there & here
there is no bond.

Imagine: no earth,
no sky, no universe.
Everything just
went back into reverse.

And we vanished
into thin ar.
And of our surroundings,
we weren't aware.

I wonder how
it would feel,
how scary
& how real?

But to think or feel
we'd have no chance
since we would have
ceased out of existence

Wow, can you imagine
everything gone?
The world fade as if hit
by a devastating bomb?

Or maybe we were transferred
to another dimension
And forced to live
in mysterious suspension.
